TASER TECHNOLOGY
10/13/05:
The Pulaski County Sheriff's
Department now has Taser guns and recently went through
training last on the lawn of the courthouse. The county
purchased three of the guns that the officers will rotate between
them.
The guns are capable of releasing 50,000 volts of electricity on
subjects which help cut down on officer injuries, according to Chief
Deputy Billy Cape. "I think it will be a good tool, "
Cape said.
