Who: Georgia residents at least 21 years of age.

Where: Probate Court Office, First Floor Courthouse

When: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

What to Bring: Georgia driver's license, Georgia State ID card or voter registration card with current address. $26.00 Cash/All Applicants. $24.00 Money Order/first time applicants only. A self addressed, stamped envelope. Foreign nationals must have INS resident card. If you are a naturalized US citizen, you should bring your naturalization papers.

How Long: 45 minutes to complete application and be fingerprinted.

Receipt of License: First time - 4 to 6 months, Renewal - 4 to 6 weeks.
